Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 August 2026
1. Agreement
By using Oregon IQ you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you confirm you may bind that organization.
2. What we provide
Access to Oregon public election data, and — for registered customers — voter list purchase and contact-data enhancement services.
3. Registration and approval
Some features require a registered, approved account. We approve registrations manually and may decline or withdraw access at our discretion.
4. Permitted use
You agree not to use Oregon IQ or any data obtained from it:
- for commercial solicitation, marketing unrelated to civic or political activity, or resale;
- to harass, intimidate, or threaten any person;
- for any purpose prohibited by Oregon or federal law governing voter registration data;
- to attempt to access parts of the service you have not been granted.
You confirm this each time you register. Misuse ends your access.
5. Data you upload
You keep ownership of what you upload. You confirm you have the right to give it to us and to have it enhanced. You grant us permission only to process it as described in the Privacy Policy, for the job you asked for. We handle and delete it as set out there.
6. Enhancement results
Contact-data enhancement is a best-effort match against third-party sources. We do not guarantee a match rate, nor that any returned phone number or email address is current or correct. You are responsible for how you use returned contact details, including compliance with calling, texting, and email law.
7. Pricing and payment
Prices are as quoted in the application at the time of your order. Enhancement is billed per match — you pay only for contact details we actually find, and never for a contact you already supplied. A deposit may be taken when you order, with the balance due before your completed file is released. Invoices are payable on receipt.
8. Delivery and availability
We aim to deliver promptly but do not guarantee a turnaround time. Your enhanced file is available to download for the period stated in the Privacy Policy; after that it is deleted and cannot be recovered. Download and keep your own copy.
9. Accuracy of public data
Election and voter data comes from public sources and may contain errors or be out of date. We provide it as-is and are not liable for decisions made on it.
10. Availability
We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the service, and may take it down for maintenance without notice.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business or profits.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. Sections 5, 6, 9, and 11 survive.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, and the courts of Oregon have exclusive jurisdiction.
